Description

NAMU takes its name from bamnamu, the Korean word for chestnut tree, keeping its last four letters as a quiet nod to the lamp's rounded, chestnut-like form.

Once lit, this mid century table lamp fills with warm, amber light. Fine vertical flutes catch the glow and carry it from the crown down to the base, softening it into the kind of light that makes a room feel slower and calmer at the end of the day.

Fully dimmable, it moves from a warm overall glow down to a low candlelit setting. As a bedside table lamp, on a bookshelf or the corner of a sideboard, NAMU brings warmth rather than glare.

Each piece is made to order and finished by hand in Toronto, Canada.

Each lamp is 3D printed using durable, heat-resistant PETG, a lightweight and shatter-resistant material that softly diffuses light while remaining cool during extended use.

Because every piece is created through a layered 3D printing process, subtle variations in color, texture, and surface finish may occur. These natural differences are part of the process and make each lamp uniquely its own.

FAQ

Is NAMU dimmable?

Yes. It can sit at a soft amber glow or be turned right down for a candlelit feel before bed.

How warm is the light?

Very warm. NAMU glows a deep golden white, up to 330 lumens, much closer to candlelight than to an everyday bulb.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. A 2 W E12 bulb is included, so it is ready to use as soon as it is plugged in.

Can it be used in the UK or Europe?

NAMU is made for 120V North American outlets. The UK and Europe run on 230V, so a plug adapter alone is not enough and can damage the lamp. A step-down voltage converter is required.

What if the bulb ever needs replacing?

NAMU takes a standard 120V E12 bulb. A low-wattage warm LED keeps the same glow.
